DiAnn teaching Optional Friday Morning Workshop – Prewriting the Novel
Friday morning 9:30-Noon Cost $45 if preregistered, $60 at the door.
Some writers are seat-of-the-pant writers. Some are married to their outlines, and some are a little in-between. This workshop is for all of you, because every cleverly crafted novel has its roots in the beginning. In every instance, the writer chooses a character and assigns traits. Out of a character’s flaws, strengths, wants, and desires, the character is motivated to spring into action and go after a goal or solve a problem. Novels are about strong characters who have a problem to solve. This is about character and the value of developing character and where it fits into prewriting a novel. This workshop is about an easy to follow technique to pre-write and plot your novel.
