I’m waiting to board the plane from Houston to Amsterdam then on to Nairobi, Kenya. For the first time, I’m very conscious of being alone and wishing my husband could have joined me. Yet, I know I’m not alone for the prayers and well-wishes of so many are with me. And for that I’m excited and curious as to why God purposed me to take this solo trip. Perhaps over the next sixteen days, I’ll learn the answer. Once the flight is in the air and during the eight plus hours, I read and journaled, much too thrilled to consider sleep.
I looked in my prayer journal. On November 1, I prayed for you on this trip alone and without Dean. I prayed that God will make Himself clear to you during the next sixteen days, and that He will show you things yet unseen. What an answer to prayer!
Your trip to the Sudan was very interesting. We had a porter at DFW airport from the Sudan. A very interesting person.
I’ve misssed you at several church library meetings because I have a terminal illness. But I pray for you as you go.
I have forwarded your e-mail to my daughter who lives in Houston and recommended that she try to come see you at the WalMart store.
Thank you for all your fine work.
